The Lansing Promise is a scholarship program offering tuition assistance for post-secondary (college or skilled trade) education to all eligible high school graduates within the Lansing School District boundaries. The Promise provides tuition assistance for up to 65 credits at Lansing Community College or the equivalent dollar amount toward tuition and fees at Michigan State University or Olivet College.
Lansing Promise
What they do
Why we support them
At the Lansing Promise we have a simple goal: to ensure that every eligible young person living and schooling within the Lansing School District boundaries has access to education and career training beyond high school.
Since 2012, funds from community-minded donors and socially-minded investors have made the future of Lansing brighter, by giving the hope of an education and career to students who may not have otherwise set foot in a college classroom or certification program. Because of this groundswell of community support, our students are able to explore their dreams, change the trajectory of their lives, and ultimately become the leaders of the future. And we’re just getting started.
You can help. Join the movement and we’ll raise up the next generation.
